KAKI LIMA Short Film Competition 2014

KAKI LIMA Short Film Competition (KLSFC) 2014 is a cultural initiative by George Town World Heritage Incorporated, in conjunction with Heritage Celebrations 2014 to provide filmmakers with a platform to express their creativity through film in the area of heritage, arts and culture.

 


Oral History Documentation Project: Cherita Lebuh Chulia

GTWHI initiated and conducted an Oral History Documentation Project to supplement existing knowledge on social histories and further raise awareness of its importance. Commenced in early March 2013, this project involved the collection, transcription, and documentation of oral history stories, related material and ephemera through a prescribed methodology; encourage community participation in constructing historical narratives of their street by using oral history; and design and deliver a public programme derived from the content collected through the oral history process.
